Bring your audience on board with TriPeak one-way live streaming solutions.
What it is
A sealed, one-way streaming unit on every boat, and a shore-side platform that turns intermittent satellite feeds into a produced 24/7 channel. Nobody has to run it on board: the skipper presses one button and goes back to sailing.

The challenge
In their words
For the first time, anyone can follow the Golden Globe Race from on board, and not one of our rules had to bend to make it happen. TriPeak understood the spirit of this race from day one.
TriPeak took my complex, 7-component, power-hungry live stream setup and engineered it into a single tiny, energy-efficient box. It's a real marvel.
Overheard in the YouTube live chat
“Does anyone know why this is so addictive? I worked TV for 35 years and can't stand it, but can't stop this.”
“This is great! It's like the Tour de France, but for sailing fans! I'm leaving this on all year!!!”
“I've been tuned in since Mara first started her Atlantic crossing. It's crazy, this is the greatest thing and I can't stop watching.”
On board
Designed for a skipper who is cold, tired and busy with the boat. The unit connects several cameras and a microphone, and switching camera or turning on the mic takes one button press. Every control is physical, every status is on the display, and there is nothing to configure at sea, so the skipper keeps the peace of mind they need to focus on the race.

Ashore
The control room shows every boat's link, camera and position at a glance, with live telemetry, stream quality, recordings and uploads one click away. The channels run unattended around the clock; operators step in when the story calls for it.

Case study
The Golden Globe Race is a solo, non-stop race around the world in the spirit of 1968: no GPS, no computers, no electronic autopilots. Skippers navigate by sextant and paper chart for eight to ten months, through the Southern Ocean and around the three great capes.
TriPeak is the race's streaming platform partner. We designed and built the complete system, from the units on board to the produced channel, and we operate it for the whole race. Fans follow the fleet on GGR Window, a 24/7 channel with daily live windows from boats at sea, while the race's rules on board stay fully intact.
Two tiers
For offshore races and event organisers
The complete system for a racing fleet, with one team behind it from the first installation to the last boat home.
For bluewater cruisers and expeditions
For crews who want to take a broader audience along. One sealed unit on board, and your voyage goes live from wherever you are.
